Old Pooraka Bulls started in October 2018 and, through a lot of work by Bill Kirkwood & Daryl Carr, we had 20 members by the end of that year. By the end of 2019 we had 35 members, and we got to 46 members by October 2020, just 2 short years from when it all started.
We currently have 62 members which means that we now generate $16,120 per year and have raised just over $83,000 since we began. To date we have spent just under $73,000 on 41 separate items for renovations and upgrades of the clubs building, as well as for Cricket & Football needs, including financially supporting the needs of the junior programmes of both sports.
We have a committee of 5 people.
Bill Kirkwood – President
Daryl Carr – Secretary
Jim McLeod – Treasurer
Kim Fullgrabe – to represent football’s interests
Sam Kelly – to represent cricket’s interests
To help control what is done with the funds we raise, all payments are by cheque and require 3 signatures to be valid.
