POORAKA CRICKET CLUB – Juniors
In 1971 we fielded our first Junior Cricket team with an Under 15 team competing in the Para Districts Cricket Association competition.
Clarrie Burgess was our first junior coach.
Pooraka Cricket Juniors have also competed in the Northeastern Junior Cricket Association.
Many of the players who participated in our junior ranks subsequently progressed and have made significant contributions to our senior sides in the ensuing years.
