The Pooraka Sports and Community Club relies heavily on membership in order to function in line with our core values of sport and community based social interaction with like-minded people in a respectful and cohesive manner.

Becoming a paid-up member can foster a sense of belonging (it is your Club) and provides opportunities for social, personal and professional interaction and development.

Members also have access to the Club (premises) which are soon to undergo refurbishment and up-grading which will improve the presentation and comfort for all.

Drinks are sold at prices which are generally lower than hotel prices with further ‘specials’ / promotions offered regularly.

Most importantly, as a paid-up member, you have the right to vote at our Annual General Meeting, nominate for Committee position/s and have a say in the future direction of the Club as we forge ahead and continue to create our own history.

Membership fees are currently $50.00 per annum and assist with:

• meeting operational costs,
• maintaining and improving our facilities and infrastructure,
• player development and
• engagement in community programmes.

More members provides greater visibility, the likelihood of attracting new supporters and improved sponsorship opportunities.
